What is Ex'pression Pro's Termination and Refund policy?
What is Ex'pression Pro?
Ex'pression Pro is a branch of Ex'pression College that offers single classes and series of classes that enable professionals, artists, and students the ability to train and certify in industry standard software and technique. Ex’pression Pro was created to provide professional certification and training in a world-class digital media production facility.
Ex’pression Pro offers individual courses, usually two to three days long, and industry-focused programs. All Ex’pression Pro classes are taught by certified instructors and industry pros on professional-grade equipment, and the instruction is hands-on. Upon completion, you will have the training and credentials needed to build your resume, differentiate yourself to employers, and facilitate the creation of your art.

Is Ex’pression Pro different from Ex’pression College?
Ex’pression Pro is a stand-alone training center offering only short courses and certifications.
Ex’pression College offers Bachelor’s degrees in four majors:
- Animation and Visual Effects
- Game Art & Design
- Motion Graphic Design
- Sound Arts
What is an Apple Certification Exam and how do I sign up?
Students enrolled in Apple courses are encouraged to sign up for the corresponding Apple Certification Exam.
By enrolling for an Apple Exam Day, you may choose any of the available Apple Certification Exams. A complete list can be found in the links below.
The Apple Certified Pro Training and Certification programs are designed to keep you at the forefront of Apple’s digital media technology. Certification creates a benchmark for assessing your proficiency in a specific Apple Pro Application or IT. By taking and passing an Apple Certified Exam, you’ll receive Apple Certified status, which allows you to distinguish yourself to colleagues, employers, and prospective clients as a skilled user of the chosen application. This Certification gives you a competitive edge in today’s ever-changing job market. You will receive a certificate from Apple distinguishing you as an Apple Certified Pro and will have the right to use the Apple Certified Pro logo on your business cards and website. This allows you to leverage the power of the Apple brand. The exam fee is $150.

Please enter Ex’pression at the main entrance and sign-in with Security.
If you parked a car in the Ex'pression lot, please let security know.
You will then be directed to your classroom.

Where are some hotels and places to stay in the neighborhood?
There are several places to stay in Emeryville that are conveniently located near our campus. They are all within one mile of the school, so potentially you could walk here from them if you wanted to.
There is also a free transit system in Emeryville, which is more like a shuttle, called the Emery-Go-Round. This shuttle has many stops in Emeryville so you could also take it from your hotel to the school at no cost to you.

How do I get to campus via public transportation?
Here is the website address for the Emery Go Round. On the website there are maps and a schedule listed. It’s a great way to get around within Emeryville and also has a stop at the local BART station.

General information about Emeryville
Bay Street in Emeryville (shopping, movie theaters & restaurants)
BART is the Bay Area’s Rapid Transit system. It allows people to get back and forth from major points in the East Bay and San Francisco. It also has a stop at the San Francisco airport as well as a stop close to the Oakland airport, from which there is a shuttle that can take you directly to that airport’s terminals.

What is Ex'pression Pro's Termination and Refund policy?
Withdraw Policy:
If the student withdraws during the program, and has completed 50% or less of the duration for which he/she has paid, the student would be eligible for a refund of 50% of the total cost of the class. If the student has completed more than 50% of the duration of his/her coursework, the student will not be eligible for a refund. In the event of a withdrawal Written notice must be made to:

Cancellation Policy:
The student may terminate enrollment into a course by giving written notice. The notice must include the reason the student is unable or unwilling to continue in the registered course. Written notice must be made to:

Refund Policy:
If the student cancels a class prior to 10 days of its scheduled start date, the student will receive a full refund. If the student cancels the registered course less than 10 days prior to the course, he/she may have the option to reschedule; however, he or she will only be eligible to receive a 50% refund of the cost of the course, as per the Withdraw Policy.
Refunds will be calculated based upon the last date of attendance.
Refunds will be paid within 30 days following the date the student notifies Ex’pression Pro of termination.
If the school cancels or discontinues a class the student has registered for, the student will be notified at least one week prior to the start and receive a 100% refund for the course.
Reschedule Policy:
If the student wishes to reschedule an enrolled class start date, he/she may do so with no penalty if it is prior to 10 days of the class start date. If the student chooses to reschedule less than 10 days prior to his/her start, he/she will be subject to the payment of a $50.00 rescheduling fee, which is due at the time of the request to reschedule. The Director of Ex'pression Pro may waive the rescheduling fee when given proper notice for special circumstances.
Ex'pression Pro reserves the right to reschedule a class if the number of registered students does not satisfy our minimum requirement. Ex'pression Pro is not liable for any damages resulting from rescheduling or cancellation of any training courses.
